LANCASHIRE AND YORKSHIRE ASSOCIATION

The monthly meeting of the Lancashire and Yorkshire Association was he'd on Saturday in the Pioneer Women's Hall. The president. Mrs J. Brighting, welcomed members and visitors. An enjoyable programme was presented as follows:—Songs. Mrs E. Middlemass; instrumental trio—cornet, Mr Trevor Brighting, piano. Miss Marjorie Brighting, violin, Mrs J. Brighting; game, 'Blow Out the Light.' organised by Mrs Ellis; Yorkshire reading, Mrs R. Walker; violin solo. Mrs lan Ballantyne, with piano accompaniment by Mrs J. H. ißruntoii; elocutionary items, Mrs O. Henry; and minstrel song and dance, Mr M. Cartwright. There was also a community sing. A vote of thanks was accorded the performers.
