WOOLLEN MILL DESTROYED
HUGE FIRE IN BRITAIN (Rec. 11.35 a.m.) LONDON, Feb. 28. Damage estimated at over £IOO,OOO was caused by a fire which destroyed one of the largest woollen mills in the West of England, Isaac Carr's factory, at Twerton (Somerset), early to-day. A home-going dancer raised the alarm. Brigades from Bath and Bristol fought the flames with fire-floats for several hours. People living in the vicinity had to be hastily evacuated.
