SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIPS
INVERCARGILL MEETING ABANDONED (P.A.) CHRISTCHURCH, Jan. 26. ThV Swimming Association to-day announced the abandonment of the junior and intermediate New Zealand championship meeting scheduled for Invercargill next month, as a result of the infantile paralysis outbreak. Junior and intermediate events not carrying titles will be included in the national- championship programme at Napier.
