DUTCH TROOPS
TRAINING IN MALAYA (Rec. 8 a.m.) ' BATAVIA, Jan. 24. It is estimated that there are 20,00 Q Dutch troops concentrated in various parts of Malaya. Some of them. are well trained and __ well equipped, such as the 1,000 marines who spent a couple of years training in the United States, and who were recently prevented by the Allied Command from landing at Batavia. The others are raw troops and are undergoing vigorous training. All are awaiting the call to Java, says the Associated Press correspondent.
