WOOL DISPOSAL
PERSONNEL OF COMMISSION (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Jan. 24. The appointment of the following members of the wool Disposal Commission set up under the Wool Disposal Act last year was announced to-day by the Minister of Marketing, Mr Roberts, as follows: Government representatives—Mr G. A. Duncan (Wellington), Director of the Export Marketing Division; Mr H. M. Christie (Wellington), Government member on the New Zealand Wool Board; Mr E. L. Greensmith (Wellington), Assistant Secretary to the Treasury; Mr B. S. Trolove (Parikawa, Kaikoura), sheepfarmer. Woolgrowers' representatives—Mr N. R. Jameson (Onga Onga), chairman of the New Zealand Wool Board; Mr W. Horrobin (Waikanae), deputy chairman of the New Zealand Wool Board; Mr H. J. Wardell (Omarama), a member of the New Zealand Wool Board. Associate member nominated by the New Zealand Woolbrokers' Assoeuitio'i —Mr C. G. Trotter (Hawera), president of the Woolbrokers' Association Mr Duncan will be chairman of the commossion and will also act as an executive member. The appointments are for a term expiring on July 31, 1949. The commission will be the New Zealand subsidiary of the Joint Wool Disposal Organisation, which is to be set up in London following the adoption by the Governments of the United Kingdom, Australia, South Africa, and New Zealand of the report of the London Wool Conference. Mr Duncan will he seconded at an early date from the Export Marketing Division to take up his position as chairman and executive member of the commission.
