GLASGOW'S GIFT TO KIWIS (N.Z.E.F. Correspondent.) (Rec. 10 a.m.) EDINBURGH, Jan. 24. The Kiwi team to meet Midlands at Coventry on Saturday is:—Scott; Sherratt, Meates, Argus; Dobson,' Allen; Saxton; forwards—Bond, ingpen, Johnstone, Arnold, Woolley, foung, Thornton, Finlay. During a complimentary dinner given to the team by the Lord Provost of Glasgow, Mr Hugh McNeil, he presented the visitors, on behalf of the, people of Glasgow, with a magnificent silver bowl bearing the city crest on one side and the figure of a Kiwi on the other side and decorated with a Celtic design. The bowl has the inscription: "From the City of Glasgow to the New Zealand Army Rugby touring party," and should make a magnificent trophy for some Army Rugby competition in New Zealand. Each member of the party was presented with a parcel containing twopackets of cigarettes and a book of Burns's poems.
