—Air Passengers.— Passengers from the north yesterday were Mr L. C. Hazlett, Mr L. Hudson, Miss S. Glendiniug, Mrs L. Blagdon, ' Mrs H. Sutherland, Mrs T. C; Dale, Mr and Mrs A. C. Hyde, Miss E. M. Hunt (from tWellington). Passengers for the south were Mr W. F. Edmond, Mr K. Mellonie, Mr G. Rundle, Mr and Mrs W. Lock and infant. Master W. Lock, Mrs A. King, Miss A. Chamberlain. Passengers for the north to-day were Mr F. Taylor, Mrs J.. K. Congrave, Miss Gow (for Christchurch), Mrs L. Allan, Mrs E. Forsyth, Miss E. Forsyth, Mrs C. Holmes (for Wellington), Mr G. Hagan, Mr H. Gardner, Mr S. Ferguson (for Auckland). The Rt.. Hon. W. J. Jordan, P. 0., High Commissioner in London for New Zealand, .had no official engagements to-day. He is to deliyer an ad- - dress to the Junior Chamber of Commerce to-night, and will leave Dunedin on Saturday morning for Invercargill. Mr L. M. Thomson, who has recently arrived from Crieff, in Perthshire, will be the guest of the St. Andrew Society to-morrow night. Mr Thomson will be a student this year at the Otago School of Min.es. Mr and M-rs Bouman and Mr Smythe, of the Netherlands Indies welfare organisation for evacuees in Wellington, who have been visiting the organisation's headquarters in Christchurch, will arrive in Dunedin to-day tq discuss welfare and educational. matters with Captain- Johan Schoon, officer in charge of evacuees in the South Island. Mrs H. E. Holland, widow of the former leader of the New Zealand Labour Party, is reported to be seriously ill at the home of her daughter, Mrs -A. L. Foreman, Blair Athol, Adelaide, South Australia! The Port of London Authority has elected Sir John Anderson, ex-Chan-cellor- of the Exchequer, to be its chairman, and Sir Douglas Ritchie, vice-chairman. Mr Thomas Wiles, P.C„ and Mr R. H. Bolton have resigned from those positions, but will remain-on .the board. The authority has also appointed Mr T. Williams as general manager.
