RELEASED FROM FORCES
(Rec. 11.25 a.m.) LONDON, January 22. The Minister of Labour, Mr G. A. Isaacs, stated in the House of Commons that the Government's promise of 1,500,000 releases of men and women from the forces by the end of 1945 was fulfilled, despite unusually bad weather in December, causing delays in transport.
