MOVEMENTS OF VESSELS. —Coastal.— Gale is expected here on January 16 from Bluff, to load for Wellington and Wanganui. Wainui is expected to go 'to Port Chalmers for overhaul and survey after discharge on Wednesday. Waimarino will leave for Bluff on Wed-* nesday, and will later return to Dunedin to load for Auckland via Timaru. Waipiata will leave Auckland to-day for Wellington and Dunedin.' Holmburn is expected on Friday from Wellington to load for New Plymouth. Paua, at present discharging bulk spirit, will sail this afternoon at 4.30 for Lyttelton. —Trans-Tasman.— ■ Karetu (U.S.S. Company Ltd.) will sail oh January 9 for Sydney via Lyttelton. Port Tauranga (Keith Ramsay Ltd.), from Eden (New South Wales), sailed for Wellington on Saturday. Kaikorai (U.S.S. Company Ltd.) is to clear Sydney early this month for Lyttelton, Timaru, Dunedin, and Bluff. —Overseas.— Kaimata (New Zealand Shipping Company Ltd.) is at Auckland from New York discharging cargo. She will complete at Wellington, and load for New York, Boston, and Halifax at Wellington, Lyttelton, Port Chalmers, and Auckland. She is due here on January 21. Hermund (H. L. Tapley and Co. Ltd.) was scheduled to load at Scandinavian ports last month for Melbourne, Sydney, Auckland, Wellington, - Lyttelton, and Dunedin via Lisbon. She is expected to reach Dunedin in February. Norton (Murray, Roberts Ltd.), at Port Chalmers, is scheduled to sail about January 11 for Lyttelton, thence Antwerp. Acadia (H L. Tapley and Co. Ltd.) is due at Lyttelton on January 15 with phosphate from Makatea. She will subsequently discharge at Ravensbourne and Dunedin, being expected here on January 17. Vancouver City (H. L. Tapley and Co. Ltd.), after completing discharge of her Canadian cargo, sailed for the Middle East via Timaru and Wellington at 6.15 a.m. to-day. Themistocles (National Mortgage and Agency Company Ltd.) cleared Liverpool on December 8 for New Zealand via Durban. She will discharge cargo at Wellington, Lyttelton, and Port Chalmers (due about February 10) Fort La Baye (H. L. Tapley and Co. Ltd.) was to clear Tampa (Florida) about December 24 for Lyttelton, Ravensbourne, and Dunedin. She is due at Lyttelton late in January. Tyndareus (Dalgety and Company Ltd.) cleared Liverpool on November 20 for New Zealand via Cape Town and Durban. She is expected to reach Auckland about January 12, and her other ports of discharge are Wellington, Lyttelton, and Port Chalmers: The vessel is due at the latter port about January 22. Rondeau Park (New Zealand Shipping Company) sailed from Montreal on November 28 for Auckland, where she is due on January 15. .After discharge she will go on to Wellington. Cargo for the South Island will be transhipped. Reaveley (Dalgety and Co.) is discharging 1,500 tons of linseed from Port Pirie. She will then load seeds and peas for Liverpool via Auckland, and it is expected that she will sail about January 10.
