TRIALS OF CRIMINALS DELAYED (Rec. 12.30 p.m.) TOKIO, Dec- 26. The American Broadcasting Company’s Tokio correspondent reports that Japanese officials and clerks since the surrender burned tons of State papers and documents for which the occupation authorities _ have been searching, thereby delaying the trials of prominent Japanese war criminals and the publication of suspects’ names.
