AMERICA ADOPTS NEW POLICY ALLIES GIVEN A VOICE WASHINGTON, Dec. 26. • (Responsible diplomatic sources say that the. United States has adopted a new policy in regard to the occupation of Japan, giving the. Allies a voice in policy-making discussions. The United States, however, continues as supreme authority in the execution of policy. It is pointed out that the new policy is indicated by the changed name of the Far. East Advisory Commission, which has decided to drop the word “ Advisory ” from the title.
The commission is leaving for Japan to-day, and the “ Big Three ” meeting at Moscow is expected to announce the name of the Russian delegate.
