ACCIDENTS AND DEATHS
STRUCK BY CAR. Injuries from which he later died in. hospital were received by a cyclist,, Albert Alonso Hewison, aged 47, married, a painter, of 175 Gill street, New Plymouth, when he was struck by a car travelling in the same direction at New Plymouth on Christmas Eve. Tha oar was a rental vehicle, driven by ; Wilfred George. Alwyn Waiker, of New Plymouth. ' - FIREMAN DEAD OF BULLET WOUND. -.; Stewart Leslie King, aged 19, a railway fireman, was found dead at Clinton on Monday morning. There was a wound in the forehead and a rifle was found beside ‘ the body.
