OAR COLLISION
SIX PERSONS INJURED (P.A.) INVERCARGILL, Dec. 26. As the result of a collision between a lorry, and a motor car at Myross Bush on Monday evening, six people, three adults and three children, all occupants of the car, were injured and admitted to Southland Hospital. The injured are—• Thomas Scully, of Woodlands, the driver of the car, head injuries and abrasions and a fracture of the fight collar bone. Mrs Scully, wife of Thomas Scully, and their three children—Coleen (aged five and a-half years) Raymond (aged three and a-half), and Desmond (aged IS months)—abrasions and shock. Mrs A. Wheeler, of Mataura, the mother of Mrs Scully, also sustained abrasions and shock. The condition of the injured is reported to be satisfactory. The car was travelling east along Bainfield Toad, and the lorry north along Mill road. After the collision the car struck a pole and was badly damaged.
