STRIKE CALLED OFF
FORD’S CANADIAN FACTORY WINDSOR (Ontario), .Dec. 19. Ford workers, who have been striking since September 12, voted to return to work under the Government’s plan providing for the negotiation of most of the issues but arbitration for such deadlocked matters as the union’s demand for a union, shop. The strike was the longest in the history of Canada’s automobile industry.
