PUBLIC NOTICES. DUNEDIN CITY COUNCIL. NOTICE 11 INSPECTING PROPOSED ALTERATION OF BOUNDARIES—CITY OF DUNEDIN. IT IS HEREBY NOTIFIED that at the expiration of one month from the 'publication of this notice the Dunedin City Council proposes to present a Petition to His Excellency the Governor-General, under Section 137 of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, praying that the Boundaries of the said City_ may be Altered so as to include therein certain lands adjacent thereto and described in the Schedule hereto. Objections to or petitions against the proposed alteration of boundaries may be lodged within one month from the publication of this notice, such objections or petitions to be addressed to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Wellington. SCHEDULE. Area proposed to be' included in the City of Dunedin:— FIRSTLY: All that porLion of land being part of Section 18. Sections 19, 20, 21, original Sections 22, 23, 24, 25, Sections 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 52, 33, part of Sections 99R 100 R, 111 R, and part of 676 R, Block V., Lower Kaikorai S.D., and part o? Section 45, Block VI., Town District, together with all the existing roadlines within the. boundaries hereinafter described : Bounded: Commencing at the most northerly corner of Section 19, Block V., Lower Kaikorai S.D., thence in a southwesterly direction bounded towards the north-west by part Section 1 of 49, a roadline, Sections 48, 47, 45, a roadline end 711 R, Block VI., Dunedin and East Taieri S.D.; thence in a southeasterly direction bounded towards the south-west by Section 45 and part of Section 99R, part of the Kaikorai Valley road, Block V., Lower Kaikorai S.D., and part of Section 45, Block VI., Town District, in the Borough of Green Island, to the boundary of the City of Dunedin; thence in a northwesterly and north-easterly direction bounded towards the north-east and south-east by Sections 42, 46, 47, 48, | by part of Barr street and Kenmure road and Section 50, Block VI., Town District, in the said City of Dunedin; thence in a westerly direction bounded towards the north and north-east by part of Sections 17, 18, and a roadline, Block V., Lower Kaikorai S.D., to the startling point, as the same is more particularly delineated on tho plan No, 4398, and thereon edged in green, SECONDLY: All that portion of land being part- of Sections 36, 39, 40, 44, 98R, and Section 43, Block VI., Town District, part of Section 1, Block XV., Dunedin and East Taieri ' S.D., Section 103 R, part of Section 78 Ocean Beach District and portion of the South road, Rise’.aw road, and Corstbrphine road within the boundaries thereinafter described: — Bounded: Commencing at the south-west-erly corner of the said Section 44, Block VI., Town District; thence in a north-westerly direction bounded towards. tho south-west by part of said Section. 1 and part of Section 98R, Block XV., Dunedin and East Taieri S.D. to a point on the centre line of South road; thence in a northeasterly direction along the centre line - of South road to a point in' lino with the south-west boundary of Section 42, Block VI., Town District; thence in an easterly, south-easterly, and southerly direction bounded by the City of Dunedin, following the centre line of South road, Riselaw road, and Corstorphine , road, as described in Gazette No. 1945, p. 576; thence to the most southerly corner of Section 103 R; thence in a north-westerly direction in a direct lino hounded by part of Section 78, Ocean Beach District, and part of Section 1, Block XV., Dunedin and East Taeiri S.D. aforesaid, to the starting point at tho south-westerly corner of Sec- .. tion 44, Block VI., Town District afore-,. THIRDLY: All that portion of land being part of Sections 78, 79, 80, 81, 82, 83, 84, 85, 107 R, 108 R, 70, Sections 33, 34, 35. 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, 71, 72, 73, 74, 75, 76, 77, 102 R, 109 R, Ocean Beach District, part Section 1, Block Xni., Dunedin and East Taieri S.D., and all the roadlines within the boundaries hereinafter described: — Bounded: Commencing at the most southerly corner of Section 103 R, Ocean Beach District; thence in a. southwesterly direction ■ along the north boundary of tho roadline intersecting Sections 78 end 79, and bounded towards the north-west by part of the said Sections 78 and 79, Ocean Beach District; thence across the said roadline; thence in a south-westerly direction bounded towards the north-west by part of Sections 80, 81, 82, 83, 84, and 85; thence in a south-easterly, direction bounded towards the southwest by part of Sections 85, 107 R, and 70 to a roadline on lines and hearings delineated on the Survey Office plan No. 9459; thence across the said roadline; thence in a westerly direction bounded towards the north by the said roadline; thence in a south-east-erly direction hounded towards the south-west by other part of said Section 70 to a roadline; thence in a north-easterly direction bounded towards the south-east by part of the said roadline; thence across - the roadline in a south-easterly direction hounded towards the south-west by Section 47, Ocean Beach district; thence in a south-westerly direction towards the north-west by Section 47 aforesaid, and part of Section 48, Ocean Beach district; thence in a south-easterly direction and a. southwesterly direction bounded towards tho west by part of Section 1 and a road reserve along the coastline, Block XIII., Dunedin and East Taieri S.D.. to tho sea, as described in C.T. Volumes 218/179 and 275/29; thence in an easterly direction bounded by the sea to a point in line with the southwestern boundary of the original Section 32, Ocean Beach District, on the south-western boundary of the City of Dunedin; thence generally in a northwesterly direction bounded towards the north-east by the said City of Dunedin to the centre line of Corstorphine road, as described in Gazette No 1945, page 576; thence to the southern corner of Section 103 R aforesaid, to the starting point, as the same is more particularly delineated oil the plan No. 4398/1, and thereon edged in green.
