BRITISH PARLIAMENT
QUESTION OF SECRET SESSIONS LONDON. December 20. The House of Commons and the House of Lords yesterday reached entirely different decisions regarding the lifting of the ban on war-time secretsessions. The motion was withdrawn in the House of Lords after strong opposition. The House of Commons, however, agreed that the ban should be lifted after Mr Herbert Morrison the Leader of the House, had given an assurance to members that they would be adequately protected both inside and outside the House against- irresponsible or malicious misquotation.
