The class of the Metropolitan Handicap, of £7OO, on the second day of the Forburv Park meeting next month ,js 4.36.f0r two miles, the same as, the Dunedin Cup The class is wrongly printed as 3.52 in this week’s Trotting Calendar.—[Advt.] Zona Grattan .looks well placed in the Trial Handicap at the New Brighton meeting. Lanaco, an unlucky entrant at the Forbury_ meeting, may get a clearer run at New Brighton to-morrow. Naughty Lady is the only wifiner engaged in the Juvenile Handicap, and though up 141 b for her win at (Riccarton is close to Stagestruck, who so far has finished third in one start.
Lyndall 7.4, Powys 7.3, and Lisheen 7.3 finished in that order in the Flying Handicap at the Southland meeting. In the Federal Handicap to-morrow Lyndall lias 8.5, Powys 7.12, and Lisheen 7.9. Amorlad is looking well again and should pay his way over the holidays.
A trainer who recently arrived in New Zealand from Australia is among the visitors for the Dunedin meeting. One of his team is Peter Gazelle.
