GREECE'S DEMANDS
£1,175,000,000 IN REPARATIONS ACTUAL COST OF WAR DAMAGE AND LOOTING (Rec. 11.5 a.m.) ATHENS, Nov. 6. The Finance Minister, M. Kasimatis, announced that Greece would demand £750,000,000 reparations from Germany and £325,000,000 from Italy, and £100,000,000 from Bulgaria. He said the figures represented the actual loss from war damage and looting, and did not include national income, manpower hours, and cost of pensions for war victims, for/which Greece would also claim. Greece's chief claims would be for heavy industrial plant and electrical equipment from Italy and Getmany. M. Kasimatis said as the result of Unrra imports Greece had more fuel, cotton, wool, leather, and cloth m stock than ever before in the country's' history. Large quantities of raw materials still in Government warehouses would shortly be, issued to industry and the public.
