Homo Aids will bo Public Servants, working an eight-hour day and forty-hour week. They will be governed by Public Service Regulations regarding annual leave, sick Jeave, and will bo able to join the superannuation fund. An attractive working uniform will be provided. Hostel accommodation will be available for Girls living away from home. As the Home Aid Service is designed to meet emergencies in tho home, the period with any one household will be limited,, and the work varied and interesting. Commencing salary will be £3 10s a week. Applicants who are accepted will be appointed in the first instance as Provisional Certificate Holders, and wiil bo given an opportunity to qualify as Diploma Holders at £4 a week. Applicants should be at least 18 yea of age, of good personality, with experience in household management, including cooking and the care, of children.
