FINAL COMMUNITY SING
The 1945 comiminity sing season will be concluded to-night, when a special appeal will be made for “ Food for Britain.” The Mayor, Mr D. C. Cameron, has already appealed for support for the Community Sing Committee’s effort, and has expressed the hope that a substantial sum will be raised. Donations may be sent to Mr J. F. Himburg, care of Begg’s, or telephoned to Nos. 11-040, 14-525, or 10-833. A fine programme has been arranged for the final night, which will he held in the Town Hall, commencing at 8 o’clock. Mr H. P. Desmoulins will he the leader, with Mr A. Pettitt at the piano. •
