BOXING BOUT-MONDAY
The . professional welter-weight contest between Jack Duncan, of Auckland, and Laurie Bolger. of- Mataura. will be staged in. the Town Hall oh' Monday evening. Both ■ men are in the pink of condition and a great battle is predicted. Thp preliminaries should bs_ of a high order. Five boxers' are being brought from Onmarvj and three frorn SouWntid. and the seven preliminarms will be an excet'ent attraction on their own. -Most of the amateurs will bpTnakinpr their first appearance in Dunedin, ar>d the local tenm will be hard put to defend its laurels.. To date the bookings are heavier than in any Rrevious contest this season and intending patrons are advised to reserve. Full particulars are advprtised.
