TAIERI AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY
There was an attendance of 26 members at the monthly meeting of the Taieri Agricultural Society. Mr W. J. Reid presided. The Chairman referred to the deaths of Mr David Hannah and Mr Alex. Walker, sen., and asked all members present to stand in silence. A sub-committee, comprised of Messrs Win. J. Reid, A. Walker. A. T. Free, F. D. Reid, and M. R. Bathgate, was appointed to carry out any necessary alterations to the grounds. Arrangements were also made in connection with the show, which would be held on Saturday, November 17.
