ZKJUHIE PAYS OVER CENTURY AND HALF SENSATION OF METROPOLITAN MEETING WAR GUARD WINS BIG EVENT The highlight of the opening day of the New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club's, meeting was the sensational dividend paid by Zingarrie in the third event. Zingarrie went out 16-16 in the bet- ' ting, and returned his fortunate followers a win price of well over a century and a-half. His place dividend was in the vicinity of a third of a century. Zingarrie has not raced since last October, when he ran unplaced at the New Brighton meeting. The weather was perfect,. and the track was in good order.
