CLASH AT NAVAL BARRACKS. LONDON, August 16.—Three naval, ratings wore bayoneted and 11 others injured by batons tonight in a claiili with armed guards at Devonport Naval Barracks. The disturbance began after the beer ran out at the canteen at 9.30 p.m. The men attempted to raid a locked rum store. They smashed the windows, but were unable to enter. They then proceeded to the detention block and attempted to release prisoners. A fight with the guards followed. An officer unsuccessfully attempted to intervene.
