AMERICAN CIVILIAN SENTENCED
(Rec. 8 a.m.) PARIS, April 26. A court martial sentenced Rene Pollard, a member of the staff of the. American Office of War Information, to imprisonment for 15 years for misappropriating army stores. Pollard, who is the first civilian in Europe to lace a court martial, was also * fined £12.500. with the alternative of an additional three years' imprisonment; He made £8.200 from illegal sales of cognac and champagne.
