GUN DOG CLUB
The Otago Gun Dog Club held the second trial of the 1945 season at East Taicri during the week-end under pleasant conditions. The results were as follows, the .judge being Mr H. T. Weir :
Open Land Trial.—Six entries.—Mr D A.. McLeod's Nick, 86. 1; Mr D. A. McLeod's Sandy, 85, 2; Mr J. Stoddart's Doc, 80, 3. Limit Land Trial. Four entries.— Mr J. Stoddart's Doc, 90, 1; Mr A. McCloy's Doughal, 83. 2. Novice Land Trial. Four entries. — Mr J. Stoddart's Trig. 86, 1; Mr A. McCloy's Doughal, 84, 2; Mr F. Harty's Rex, 83. 3. Puppy Land Trial. Four entries.— Mr F. Harty's Rex, 88, 1; Mr J. Stoddart's Trig, 82, 2; Mr A. Napier's Monty, 78, 3.
