FAMILY HOMES.
TO THE EDITOR.
Sir, —As 'one who has reared a large family and as a consequence has a fellow feeling for the family man and his troubles, I am concerned that there is apparently no provision in the State housing scheme for the couple with the average-sized family. Three-roomed flats may be quite satisfactory for the childless couple, but they are useless for the couple witli the family, and act as a " birth controller" for the newly married. May we ever hope for family homes?—l am, etc., Dalmore. April 22.
