BALMACEWEN BADMINTON CLUB
The annual meeting of the Balmacewen Badminton Club was presided over by Mr A. McMillan, and there was a' good attendance. In moving the adoption of the report and balance sheet, the Chairman congratulated the club on the satisfactory state of its finances.
The following officers were elected : President, Mr A. McMillan; vice-presi-dent, Mr H. Harvey; secretary. Miss C. Crooks; treasurer. Miss M. Poole; committee—Mrs MeTnnes, Miss N. McHugh, Mr .T. Ferguson, and Mr R. Krapwell; club captain, Mr J. Ferguson.
It was decided to hold the opening night of the 194& season on Thursday next.
