BRENNER LINE BRIDGE
HIT BY MITCHELL BOMBERS (Rec. 10.35 a.m.) RUGBY, Feb. 25. Liberators and Fortresses to-day attacked communications inside Linz, which is a bottleneck for rail traffic to and from Vienna, Regensburg, Salzburg, and Munich. Medium bombers continued into the sixth day the operations against the Brenner Pass. Mitchells bit -the Brenner line bridge at Vitipeno, six miles from the Austrian border, and tlio most northerly point ever bombed by Mediterraneanbased medium bombers.
