INSTITUTION OF ENGINEERS
OTAGO BRANCH
The Otago branch of the New Zealand Institution of Engineers held its last general meeting for the year oil Friday. In an endeavour to extend the activities of the branch the following standing committees, were elected:—Publicitq and Public Relations—Messrs E. R. Garden, S. G. Scoular, J. M. Patrick, G. T. Edgar; Education and Papers—Messrs R. Paihuan, T. J. Palmer, J. Davidson, L Hunter; Rehabilitation and Man Power—Messrs A. C. Swauson. A. H. Dickson, W. R. H. Duke, T. Conly; General (Membership, Professional Ethics, Development)—Messrs R. J. Howorth, O. J. Doidge, M. C. Henderson, R. Simmers; Social—Messrs A. H. Dickson, W. Puddy, J. Laverty. The technical portion of the evening, took the form of a " question session."
