POLICE EXAMINATIONS

DUNEDIN SUCCESSES

A number of police officers at the Dunedin Central and suburban stations gained successes at the* recent police examinations: In the law section De-tective-sergeant J. Gibson gained a partial pass in the sub-inspector's examination, and Sergeant C. L. Spencer completed this section' for the senior sergeant's examination Detective A.. W. McDougall and Constables E. H. Clark. A. G. Manson, and A. S. Chile* completed the law section for the 'sergeant's examination, and Constable G. E. S. Kelly gained a partial pass. ■ : ■, In the literary.section six Dunedin constables passed the sub-inspector's examination They are Constables B. Alty, J 'Walker, R. Geddes. G. P. Dwan, G. D. Kelly, and M. F.'Maguire. Constable P. J. Nye passed in this section for the sergeant's examination. Details are also available of successes at Southland offices.; Detectivesergeant J. W. Hul. of lnvercargjUl, completed the jaw section of the subinspector's examination, and Detectivesergeant T.
