HEAVY RAID ON MUNICH
OVER 1,100 BOMBERS OUT (Rec. noon.) LONDON, July 11." A United States Strategic Air Force communique states that of a force of over 1,100 Fortresses and Liberators which bombed targets in the Munich area to-day 20 bombers have not yet returned. Two fighters of the strong escorting force are also missing.
