TAIERI COMPETITIONS FESTIVAL
At a committee meeting of theTaieri Competitions, held at Mosgiel, Miss E. Lungley. was "appointed adjudicator for;the elocution and .drama, sections, and as coadjudicator for the action songs and duets. Miss A. Westland'was appointed honorary official accompanist for the vocal sections. Donations to .the .prize fund.were received as follows Westland (piano prizes), Miss N. Borrow (junior piano), Mrs J. Stewart (junior songs); Miss .C. Cheyne (song with accompanist), Mrs.W. E. Shand (medals for local Highland fling*, anonymous (3 medals for Highland reel).
