STAMPS VALUED AT £20,000 (P.A.) CffItISTCHUiRCH. July 11. Unique specimens of early New Zealand stamps are included in a collection conservatively valued at £20,000, which the Hon. Sir R. Heaton Rhodes lias given the Canterbury Museum. They comprise mostly New Zealand stamps. Sir Heaton (Rhodes was president of the New Zealand Philatelic Society for many years. He was PostmasterGeneral between 1912 and 1915.
