REVERSE LEND-LEASE
BRITISH AID TO AMERICA LONDON, July 9. Mr Leo Crowley, the United States Foreign Economic Administrator, issued a statement in Washington that more than 66,400.000d0l worth of repairs, fuel, stores, and services had been received by United States shipping from Britain under reverse lend-lease. This estimate includes substantial outlays by the United- Kingdom for the transportation of hundreds of thousands of American soldiers, sailors, Red Cross workers, and other personnel to various parts of the world.
