OBITUARY

MR DAVID ANDREW Mr David Andrew, who passed away at his home at Mornington on Sunday, was a well-known retired farmer and former president of the Otago A. and P. Societv.' Born at Mosgiel in 1862, he was educated at Mosgiel and at the' Otago Boys' High School, of which he was one of the few renaming early pupils. He was enrolled at the Hign School in 1876. As a young man he took up farming on the Taieri; and was well known in the district for many years. In 1920 he retired to Dunedin, but .he continued to take a keen interest in agricultural matters: He was' a former president of the Taieri A. and P. Society and the Otago A. and P. Society, and was a life member of the Otago Society. Mr Andrew, who was predeceased (by his wife four years .ago, is survived by two daughters—Mrs C. F. Wedge, of Oamaru, and Miss Ruth Andrew of Dmnedin—and a son, lir John Andrew, of Tiroiti. Central O^ago.
