—Air Passengers.—
Passengers from the north this afternoon were:—Mr R. Scholfield, Miss Mrs W. Henderson (from Auckland), Mr Paisley, Miss M. E. Fleet, Mr D. Henderson, Mrs S. F. Hill, Mr C. W. Fraser (from Welling-* ton), Mrs E. Ullrich, Miss Brown (from Christchurch). Advice has been received that Sergeant David Dennison Thompson, who is a prisoner of war at Stalag 383 in Germany, has recovered from an operation for appendicitis, and that he was given " the very best of medical attention."_ Sergeant Thompson's father resides in Tenvuka.
