OTAGO KENNEL CLUB
At, the. eleventh annual meeting of [he Otago Kennel Club Mr Arthur Mcßae was voted to Ihe chair in the absence of the chairman, Mr J. K. Humphreys, who is in the armed forces. The secretary, Mr J Lang, and a vice-president. Mr D. Blain. a.re also at present on military duties. Tho financial statement showed that thp cluh is in a very healthy state, and indica'tions are that tlie forthcoming show to be held in August will be of unusual interesL for dog owners. Tho following are the office-bearers:—Pre-sident, Mr Arthur Mcßae; immediate past president, Mr J. K. Humphreys; patron Mr Alex. Chisman; 11 vice-patrons and five vice-presidents were elected; executive— Messrs F. Wqodhouse, N. Simpson, R. J Griffiths, H. Chapman, D. Kilgour, T O'Connell, J. Booth, H. Brown; hon. joint, secretaries. Messrs J. Mercer and J. Curie, hon. vet. surgeon, Mr A. Lawrenson; hon. solicitor, Mr D. A. Boll; hon. auditor. Mr T. D. B. Paterson.
