MAN POWER APPEALS

SITTING OF COMMITTEE The Industrial Man-power Appeal Committee—Messrs M. \V. Grantham, A. McCrae, and H. Gillard—held a sitting to-day to hear appeals against the direction of the district man-power officer (Mr J. ; H. Flowers) placing essential workers in industry. Flint, an employee of Macdiiffs Ltd., appealed for medical reasons and on the grounds of an alleged breach of faith, against her direction as an experienced mechanist to the clothing factory of H. 8..
