INQUIRIES TO GOVERNMENT LIFTING OF CASTLE STREET LINE " It seems that we are being treated most discourteously, and are being ignored," said the Mayor (Mr A/ H. Allen), at the meeting of the , City Council last night, in reply to a question from Cr M. C. Henderson, chairman of the Transport Committee, whether he had received a reply to his letter inquiring when the Order in Council permitting the lifting of the Castle street tram line would bo gazetted.
