BIBLE LECTURES
A series of addresses will be given next week in the North-east. Valley Baptist Church by Miss M. W. Turner, of Auckland, who has travelled widely and has made an extensive study of (he Bible. *'A school teacher by profession, Miss Turner spent some time as an " exchange " teacher in Aberdeen, and in recent years has visited Palestine and Syria, where she gained a firsl-hand knowledge of the work of the British Syrian Mission. The addresses will commence on Tuesday.
