WAR AGAINST JAPAN
MR FRASER STATES HEW ZEALAND'S PART (Official News Service.) TENDON, May 4. The Commonwealth conference yesterday spent some further time in a discussion on the European war and then turned to the war against Japan. Mr Eraser gave his follow Prime Ministers a detailed account of New Zealand's part in the Pacific war to date and new problems which are emerging there. He spoke both of the activities of the New Zealand armed forces and of the supply situation, particularly food production, which has such significance for the people of Britain. Discussion followed on the development of Commonwealth participation in the coming stages of the Pacific war.
