EVACUATION OF BANGKOK URGED
LONDON, February 1. The Bangkok radio urged the population to evacuate the ' city immediately. " Thailand no longer has a capital, and many members of the Government have gone to places of safety. The enemy will not cease to Taid Bangkok; on the contrary, the raids are likely to become heavier and more frequent," the announcement said.
