FINNISH PRESS COMMENT (Rec. 10 a.m.) LONDON. Feb. i. The success of the Russian offensive on the Leningrad front has revived the worst fears of the Finns, say the Stockholm correspondent of the British" United Press. The ' Suomen. sosialdemokraatti' the chief organ of tho Social Democratic Party in Finland, states: "The Russian northern offensive aims to drive the Germans from Estonia and the rest of the Baltic countries. It can be assumed, considering the overwhelming Russian superiority, that this objective will be reached; thus an entirely new front will be created—a Baltic Sea front The consequences of such a development for the maintenance of Finland's sea communications may be imagined."
