MINES STILL IDLE
1,400 TONS LOST DAILY
(P.A.) GRKYMOUTH, Jan. 11. The ' Liverpool, Strongman, and Wallsend State mines' were again idle to-day, and there is no indication of resumption. The miners' organisation made,, representations to the Government on the'issue involved.
The Dobson, Blackball, and Cooperative mines are working. The estimated loss of production in the three idle mines is 1,400 tons daily.
