NO SUNDAY BUSES
AUCKLAND DRIVERS CARRY OUT THREAT
(P.A.) AUCKLAND, Jan. 9. With iJie bus drivers rigidly adhering to their decision, which was endorsed at a. general meeting of the Auckland Drivers' Union, not to operate normal services on Sundays, the general public was without bus travelling facilities in Auckland to-day.
In terms of their resolution to refrain from running the full services until the proprietors granted them wage and time concessions, JJie drivers operated a limited service for about two hours this morning from 7 to 9 o'clock, and again in the evening from 4 to 6 o'clock.
No official developments have been reported to-night in the dispute between the drivers and the bus operators.
