, CHILD SUCCUMBS TO BURNS. Admitted to. the Auckland Hospital ou Saturday suffering'from burns to her chest and right arm. a three-year-old o-irl. L'uaha Pirihi, of Blockhouse Bay road, died yesterday. The child suffered burns when she was playing with matches and her clothes caught fire. SAD FATE OF RETURNING SOLDIER. The body of a soldier, L/Bombardier Wilson Ernest Tregea, a married man, 32 years of age, who lived at .310 Macon drew road. Dunedin, was found on the railway line near the Orari station early yesterday morning after the night express from Christehiirch bad passed through I'/Bombardier Tregea was a member of the draft which returned to the Dominion last week from garrison duty in the Pacific.
