Last year's Derby winner, Main Topic, won the" Metropolitan at Randwick to-day, beating this year's Derby winner, Moorland, and equalling the Australian record time for a,mile and five furlongs. Main Topic and Moorland singled themselves out a furlong from home, and in a thrilling finish Main Topic,, desperately ridden, just worried Moorland out of first, prize.
