AMERICA'S APPROACHING PRODUCTION

The United States will soon be turning out an aeroplane every five minutes, or 8,640 a month, said.the acting chairman of the War Production Board, Mr Wilson. He added that the United States produced 110,000 aircraft in the 21 months ended September 30. In the same period the United States produced 60,000 tanks and tank chasses, 21,000,000 deadweight tons of merchant shipping, and 3,000,000 displacement tons of naval vessels.
