GREAT SEAMAN'S PASSING
N.Z. TO HONOUR SIR DUDLEY POUND FLAGS TO FLY AT HALF-MAST (P.A.J WELLINGTON Oct. 25. " The burial of Sir Dudley Pound, recently First Sea Lord, will take place to-morrow," said the Prime Minister, Mr Eraser, to-day. "As a mark of respect to his memory and the service he rendered to the Navy and to the cause of the British Commonwealth and the United Nations, it is desired that all flags on public buildings in New Zealand be flown at half-mast during the <Tay. It will also be appreciated if commercial houses and private citizens who are flying flags could hoist them at half-mast.
